Anti-Polyethylene Glycol [E11] Standard size

Description: Recombinant monoclonal antibody to Polyethylene Glycol. Manufactured using AbAb’s Recombinant Platform with variable regions (i.e. specificity) from the hybridoma E11.
Isotype and Format: Human IgM, kappa
Clone Number: E11
Published Application(s): ELISA; WB; FC
Published Species Reactivity: n/a
Immunogen: Conjugate of an antibody and PEG-modified E. coli ß-glucuronidase.
Specificity: This antibody binds to the repeating subunits of the PEG backbone. The minimum PEG size that can be bound is ~ 2000 Da. Effective binding is greatly enhanced in PEG conjugates (i.e. PEG-protein, PEG-liposome, PEG-cell, PEG-nanoparticle conjugates).
Application Notes: This antibody can detect free PEG and PEG-modified proteins by ELISA, immunoblotting, and flow cytometry.
