Recombinant monoclonal antibody to Cytomegalovirus (CMV) gH glycoprotein. Manufactured using AbAb’s Recombinant Platform with variable regions (i.e. specificity) from the hybridoma MSL-109.
UniProt Accession Number of Target Protein: Q4WHS2
Alternative Name(s) of Target: AFUA_2G04390; Cytomegalovirus gH-receptor family protein
Immunogen: CMV antigen (Virus antigen batch V2547) prepared from MRC-5 cells infected with the Towne strain of CMV.
Specificity: Binds human cytomegalovirus (CMV).
Antibody first published in:

Note on publication:
Describes the preparation and identification of anti human cytomegalovirus (CMV) antibody (SDZ MSL 109) using neutralisation of cytomegalovirus activity in vitro ELISA test and its protein sequence.
ELISA using MSL-109 (Ab00182) and Cytomegalovirus gH Pentamer Complex. Binding curves of the rabbit IgG chimeric version of the Anti-Cytomegalovirus (CMV) gH glycoproteinHA antibody MSL-109 (Ab00182-23.0; blue line) and isotype control (Ab00102-23.0, anti-fluorescein; orange line) to an ELISA plate coated with Cytomegalovirus gH Pentamer Complex at a concentration of 2.5 ug/ml. A 3-fold serial dilution from 3000 to 0.0169 ng/ml was performed using Ab00182 antibody. For signal detection, a 1:4000 dilution of a HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody was used.
