Recombinant monoclonal antibody to CD18. Manufactured using AbAb’s Recombinant Platform with variable regions (i.e. specificity) from the hybridoma YTS 213.1.

Immunogen: Mouse spleen cells.
Specificity: Recognises CD18 beta subunit of LFA-1 family.
Application Notes: This antibody recognizes murine CD18, which together with CD11b forms the complement receptor 3, also called the Macrophage 1 antigen MAC1. This antibody may be used in flow cytometry, IHC , IF and IP. The original rat IgG2a format was not known to block function.

Anti-CD18 staining of murine macrophages Murine bone marrow-derived macrophages (BMDMs) were stained with anti-CD18 antibody Ab00203-7.1 (as well as isotype control) and bound antibody detected using goat IgG anti-rat IgG (H&L-chain) polyclonal antibody directly conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 647(AF647) commercially available from a competitor. Compared to the isotype control and secondary-only control, a CD18-positive population is apparent.
