Specificity: Recognises GD3, a prominent ganglioside of human melanoma, melanocytes and other cells of neuroectodermal origin. It furthermore recognises strocytes, certain groups of neurons in the brain, cells in the parotid, adrenal medulla and pancreatic islets.
