Immunogen: Peptide "LVQGSILK" derived from PCNA1 (Proliferating cellular nuclear antigen 1) conjugated to KLH. PCNA ins an auxiliary and regulatory protein of DNA polymerase delta involved in control of eukaryotic DNA replication.

Specificity: Recognises human PCNA.

Immunofluorescence staining of fixed HeLa cells with anti-PCNA antibody SAIC-27C-101 (Ab00319) Immunofluorescence analysis of paraformaldehyde fixed HeLa cells on Shi-fix™ coverslips, permeabilized with 0.15% Triton and stained with the chimeric rabbit version of SAIC-27C-101 (Ab00319-23.0) at 10 µg/ml for 1h followed by Alexa Fluor® 488 secondary antibody (1 µg/ml), showing nuclear staining. The nuclear DNA stain is DAPI (blue). Panels show from left-right, top-bottom Ab00319-23.0, DAPI, merged channels and an isotype control. The isotype control was stained with an anti-Fluorescein antibody (Ab102-23.0) followed by Alexa Fluor® 488 secondary antibody.
