Description: Recombinant monoclonal antibody to MHC II. Manufactured using AbAb’s Recombinant Platform with variable regions (i.e. specificity) from the hybridoma YKIX 334.2. This antibody was created using our proprietary Fc Silent™ engineered Fc domain containing key point mutations that abrogate binding to Fc gamma receptors.

Immunogen: YKIX 334.2 was prepared by immunizing rats with concanavilin A activated canine peripheral blood cells.
Specificity: YKIX 334.2 binds specifically to the MHC II beta chain. In dogs, MHC Class II is expressed on the surface of all peripheral blood mononuclear cells where it has a central role in the immune system by presenting peptides derived from extracellular proteins. Class II molecules are expressed in antigen presenting cells (B lymphocytes, dendritic cells, macrophages).
Application Notes: YKIX 334.2 immunoprecipitates an antigen of 32/34kD and can has been shown to block the proliferation of MHC Class II dependent responses in vitro. This antibody can also be used for IHC-Fr and FC.
