Integrins are important proteins mediating cellular attachment and signalling. Five integrins contain the αv to form integrins αvβ1, αvβ3, αvβ5, αvβ6 and αvβ8. These integrins are being targeted in cancer therapies, making precise knowledge of their presence and distribution vital for diagnosis to inform therapeutics.
Absolute Antibody is pleased to present an exclusive panel of recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies against anti-αv integrins, originally cited here. These are available as rabbit IgG as well as recombinantly engineered mouse IgG1 for use with FFPE biopsies. See the table below for a full breakdown of the clone names, targets and available off-the-shelf formats.
Figure 1 shows the immunohistochemistry (IHC) staining of human tumor cell lines expressing varying degrees of target antigen.
In addition to immunohistochemistry, these antibodies have also been used in a number of research papers and for immunofluorescence (IF) microscopy (Figure 2).
