VivopureX™ Antibodies for In Vivo Research Launched at Bulk-Discounted Prices

We’re excited to launch our VivopureX™ recombinant mouse antibodies at bulk-discounted prices ideal for in vivo research. As Absolute Antibody continues to increase our production capacity and yield, we can more cost-effectively manufacture large quantities of antibody reagents and pass these savings along to our customers. The VivopureX™ antibody collection includes a selection of our most exciting mouse-anti-mouse antibodies, now available in bulk sizes ranging from 1 mg to 100 mg at significantly lower and highly competitive prices.

The VivopureX™ collection consists of popular antibody clones, many originally obtained from rats or hamsters, which Absolute Antibody has engineered into mouse-anti-mouse recombinant versions to improve research results. These species-matched chimeric antibodies consist of a clone’s original antigen-binding variable domain with a mouse constant domain.

Our VivopureX™ recombinant mouse antibodies offer many advantages compared to the original antibody format, including:

• Reduced immunogenicity: no neutralizing antibodies are induced in the host organism, meaning the antibody works for longer and cohorts respond more consistently.
• Tailored effector function: antibody formats have been engineered to suit their most popular application. (Increased Fc receptor binding increases depleting potential, while reduced Fc receptor binding reduces side effects in blocking.)
• Increased potency: less antibody is required to achieve the same response in mouse models.
• Batch-to-batch reproducibility: recombinant production ensures the highest possible reproducibility, while guaranteeing high purity and low endotoxin levels (<0.5 EU/mg).

Mean tumor sizes in animals treated with PD-1 mouse IgG2a Fc Silent™ antibody based on clone RMP1-14 (Ab00813-2.3) are significantly smaller than in animals treated with the traditional rat IgG2a antibody (Ab00813-7.1). Download our research poster to learn more.

Our data illustrate how VivopureX™ mouse antibodies provide increased long-term efficacy, potency and consistency compared to the original rat antibodies. In the figure to the left, our recombinant mouse PD-1 antibody based on the widely used clone RMP1-14 reduced tumor size in a mouse model more effectively than the original rat version.
