Immunogen: Membraneous glycoproteins from rat thymocytes.

Specificity: Recognises a 50kDa Cell surface glycoprotein expressed by helper T cells - found on 86% of rat thymocytes, 70% of peripheral T lymphocytes and macrophages.

Application Notes: This antibody binds to rat CD4 and is able to suppress IL2 production in the Mixed Lymphocyte Reaction Assay.
