Specificity: Epitope mapping has revealed that the 25B6 anti-CTIP2 monoclonal antibody recognizes an antigen within the 150 amino acids located at the extreme amino terminus of the protein, CTIP2-(1–150).
Application Notes: This antibody detects two bands corresponding to Ctip2, a protein highly expressed in brain and malignant T-cells from patients with adult T-cell leukemia/lymphoma.

Western Blot using Anti-Ctip2 antibody 25B6 (Ab00616). Mouse brain tissue lysate (35µg protein in RIPA buffer) were resolved on a SDS PAGE gel and blots were probed with the chimeric rabbit version of 25B6 (Ab00616-23.0) 1µg/ml before detection using an anti-rabbit secondary antibody. A primary incubation of 1h was used and protein was detected by chemiluminescence.
Flow cytometry using the Anti-Ctip2 antibody 25B6 (Ab00616). Paraformaldehyde fixed Neuro-2a cells permeabilized with 0.5% Triton were stained with anti-unknown specificity antibody (Ab00178-23.0; isotype control, black line) or the rabbit IgG version of 25B6 (Ab00616-23.0, blue line) at a dilution of 1:100 for 1h at RT. After washing, the bound antibody was detected using a goat anti-rabbit IgG AlexaFluor® 488 antibody at a dilution of 1:1000 and cells analyzed using a FACSCanto flow-cytometer.
