Recombinant monoclonal antibody to Biotin. Manufactured using AbAb’s Recombinant Platform with variable regions (i.e. specificity) from the hybridoma muM33.

Immunogen: The original antibody was generated by immunizing BALB/cmice with biotin tagged protien.
Specificity: This antibody recognizes and binds biotin.
Application Notes: This antibody is recommended for detection of biotin labelled proteins in a sample using ELISA and western blot.

ELISA using muM33 (Ab02421) and biotin. Binding curves of the rabbit IgG chimeric version of the Anti-Biotin antibody muM33 (Ab02421-1.1; red line) and isotype control (Ab00102-23.0, anti-fluorescein; orange line) to an ELISA plate coated with biotin at a concentration of 2.5 ug/ml. A 3-fold serial dilution from 3000 to 0.0169 ng/ml was performed using Ab02421 antibody. For signal detection, a 1:4000 dilution of a HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody was used.
