Recombinant monoclonal antibody to infectious bursal disease virus. Manufactured using AbAb’s Recombinant Platform with variable regions (i.e. specificity) from phage display CRAb154.

Immunogen: This antibody was raised by immunising specific-pathogen-free chickens with very virulent infectious bursal disease virus (vvIBDV) strain CS89. Lymphocyte cDNA derived from these chickens was used to construct an scFv antibody expression library, which was screened by panning against captured CS89 virus, the immunising antigen.
Specificity: This scFv reacts with a wide variety of IBDV strains isolated from different countries, including very virulent IBDV.
Application Notes: The ability of this scFv to bind diverse infectious bursal disease virus strains has been confirmed in ELISA and immunoprecipitation analysis (Sapats et al, 2006).
