Immunogen: The original antibody was generated by intraperitoneally immunizing BALB/c mice with the purified recombinant megakaryocyte potentiating factor protein.
Specificity: This antibody binds the human megakaryocyte-potentiating factor.
Application Notes: This antibody is recommended to be used in combination with mAb 41-28 for detecting megakaryote potentiating factor (MPF) with high sensitivity in a capture ELISA. This antibody can also immunoprecipitate recombinant MPF. The antibody can successfully detect MPF in a western blot assay (PMID: 24167356, 18394747).

Immunofluorescence staining of HeLa cells with anti-MPF (Ab02082) 20-10 Immunofluorescence analysis of paraformaldehyde fixed HeLa cells stained with the chimeric rabbit IgG version of 20-10 (Ab02082-23.0) at 10 µg/ml for 1h followed by Alexa Fluor® 488 secondary antibody (2 µg/ml), showing membrane staining.
