Recombinant monoclonal antibody to Oestrone-3-glucuronide. Manufactured using AbAb’s Recombinant Platform with variable regions (i.e. specificity) from the hybridoma 3910.
Alternative Name(s) of Target: E3G
Immunogen: Human E3G.
Specificity: The antibody binds to E3G with an affinity of 1.43 nM.
Application Notes: The antibody is specific for Oestrone-3-glucuronide (E3G), a urinary metabolite of 17β-estradiol, a hormone secreted by the developing ovarian follicles. The monoclonal antibodies can be used clinically to detect levels of E3G in urine samples of women, providing a non-invasive test for determining the fertile period, indicating the time of ovulation.

Note on publication: Describes the generation of the monoclonal antibody 3910, specific for oestrone-3-glucuronide (E3G). The antibody has neutralising activity, and its crystal structure allows us to determine the binding interactions between 3910 and its ligand,
