Immunogen: OX-59 was prepared by immunizing BALB/c mice with rat serum IgG.

Specificity: Ox-59 binds specifically to rat IgG. IgG is a class of immunoglobulins, which play a major role in the immune system.

Application Notes: OX-59 can be used in CFU assays.

Western Blot using anti-Rat IgG antibody OX-59 (Ab00588) Rat lymph node tissue lysates (35µg protein in RIPA buffer) were resolved on a SDS PAGE gel and blots were probed with the chimeric rabbit version of OX-59 (Ab00588-23.0) at 1 µg/ml before detection using an anti-rabbit secondary antibody. A primary incubation of 1h was used and protein was detected by chemiluminescence.
