Recombinant monoclonal antibody to Rhesus IgA alpha chain. Manufactured using AbAb’s Recombinant Platform with variable regions (i.e. specificity) from the hybridoma 10F12.
Alternative Name(s) of Target: α-rhesus IgA
Specificity: This antibody reacts with macaque IgA alpha chain. It does not react with human IgA.
Application Notes: A biotinylated version of this antibody has been used in ELISA analysis to quantify HIV-1 or SIV Env-specific and total IgA in rhesus macaque plasma, milk and mucosal samples following viral infection or passive immunisation (Amos et al, 2015; Fouda et al, 2017; Eudailey et al, 2018).
