Immunogen: The origianl antibody was generated by panning a human library against SpA.

Specificity: This antibody is specific for SpA-E of S.aureus. S.aureus is a bacteria that causes MRSA in humans, but can also cause a wide range of other infections.

Application Notes: The affinity of the antibody to bind SpA-E was determined by a standard optical interferometry method (KD < 5nM). The binding of the antiboddy to SpA on live S. aureus TCH1516 (USA300 MRSA strain) was tested by flow cytometry (CN108064241A).
