Recombinant monoclonal antibody to CD19. Manufactured using AbAb’s Recombinant Platform with variable regions (i.e. specificity) from the hybridoma HD37.

Immunogen: Cells from a hairy cell leukemia patient.
Specificity: This antibody is specific for human CD19, a 95 kDa protein expressed in the B-lymphocyte lineage.
Application Notes: This antibody binds to CD19 and is able to inhibit B-cell activation (Pezutto 1987). This antibody was measured to have a KD of 4.1 ± 0.3 nM against human CD19 and did not compete with clone FMC63 (available as Ab00613) (Sakemura et al., 2023; PMID: 37879074).

Flow-cytometry using anti-CD19 antibody HD37 (Ab00214) Human lymphocytes were stained with an isotype control (Ab00102-23.0, panel A) or the rabbit-chimeric version of HD37 (Ab00214-23.0, panel B) at a concentration of 1 µg/ml for 30 mins at RT. After washing, bound antibody was detected using a AF488 conjugated donkey anti-rabbit antibody (ab150073) and cells analysed on a FACSCanto flow-cytometer.
