Recombinant monoclonal antibody to MHC II. Manufactured using AbAb’s Recombinant Platform with variable regions (i.e. specificity) from the hybridoma A6-61.3.

Immunogen: This antibody was obtained from a fusion of the non-producing plasmacytoma Ag8.653 with spleen cells from ATL mice that had been immunized with ATH spleen cells.
Specificity: This antibody is specific for murine I-A, haplotypes H-2k, d and q. It binds to the β-chain of murine Ia.
Application Notes: This antibody has been used in a cellular radioimmunoassay to investigate the effect of IFN-y treatment on cell surface expression of Ia (Graf et al, 1985).

Immunofluorescence staining of mouse splenocytes with anti-MHC II (Ab00878) A6-61.3 Immunofluorescence analysis of paraformaldehyde fixed mouse splenocytes on Shi-fix™ coverslips stained with the chimeric rabbit IgG version of A6-61.3 (Ab00878-23.0) at 10 µg/ml for 1h followed by Alexa Fluor® 488 secondary antibody (2 µg/ml), showing membrane staining. Flow cytometry using the Anti-MHC II antibody A6-61.3 (Ab00878). Paraformaldehyde fixed mouse splenocytes were stained with anti-unknown specificity antibody (Ab00178-23.0; isotype control, black line) or the rabbit IgG version of A6-61.3 (Ab00878-23.0, blue line) at a dilution of 1:100 for 1h at RT. After washing, the bound antibody was detected using a goat anti-rabbit IgG AlexaFluor® 488 antibody at a dilution of 1:1000 and cells analyzed using a FACSCanto flow-cytometer.
