Recombinant monoclonal antibody to BTK. Manufactured using AbAb’s Recombinant Platform with variable regions (i.e. specificity) from the hybridoma 10D11.

Immunogen: This antibody was raised by immunizing a mouse with the PH domain (amino acids 1-175) of human BTK.
Specificity: This antibody is specific for amino acids 1-175 of human BTK. It is known to bind to a 77-kD version of BTK. BTK is a non-receptor tyrosine kinase indispensable for B lymphocyte development, differentiation and signaling.
Application Notes: A western blot on bkt proteins using the mouse version of this antibody has proven the specificity of this clone. The antibody recognized a 77-kD BTK. Furthermore the mouse version of this antibody allows for the immunoprecipitation of the btk protein (Bykowsky et al, 1996; pmid:8644706).
