Immunogen: This antibody was generated by site-directed mutagenesis with an aspartic acid insertion mutation at position 101 of the antibody heavy chain of the original monoclonal antibody.
Specificity: This antibody is capable of recognizing Legionella spp, which form a genus of pathogenic gram-negative bacteria.
Application Notes: This antibody is exhibits broader specificity towards Legionella serotypes. The specificity of this antibody for Legionella was confirmed using ELISA (PMID: 11292489).
