Recombinant monoclonal antibody to M13 bacteriophage. Manufactured using AbAb’s Recombinant Platform with variable regions (i.e. specificity) from the hybridoma E1.

Immunogen: This antibody was raised by immunizing mice with isolated M13 phage coat proteins.
Specificity: This antibody is specific for coat proteins from the M13 phage. Plays essential roles both in the penetration of the viral genome into the bacterial host via pilus retraction and in the extrusion process.
Application Notes: The mouse version of this antibody has shown use in ELISA. Further, western blot can also be preformed with the mouse version of this antibody. Staining of M13 phage coat proteins can also be preformed using the mouse version of this antibody. Finally the mouse version of this antibody can stain M13 phage coat proteins for flow cytometry.
