Recombinant monoclonal antibody to MET. Manufactured using AbAb’s Recombinant Platform with variable regions (i.e. specificity) from the phage display antibody 7A2.

Immunogen: The original antibody was selected by biopanning with a scFv phage library performed on solid-phase recombinant MET928.
Specificity: The antibody specifically binds to amino acid residues 568-741 of human MET.
Application Notes: The scFv fragment showed inhibition of HGF/SF induced migration of SKOV cells. In particular, the scFv fragment had an IC50 of 2.3 nM in the SKOV migration assay. The binding affinity of the scFv fragment to MET928 was measured by surface plasmon resonance (Kd= 3.6 nM). In a competition ELISA, binding of 2.5 nM of the Fab version of the antibody to a MET928-coated surface was inhibited by 15 μM and 5 μM NK1 (US20150147274A1).
