Immunogen: The antibody is the humanized version of the murine Mab 2.7.35.

Specificity: The antibody is specific for hepsin. Human hepsin is a Type II serine transmembrane protease and belongs to the trypsin family of serine proteases. Hepsin was identified by homology screening of a human liver cDNA library in 1988. It plays an important role in cell growth and maintenance of cell line morphology

Application Notes: The specificity of the antibody was confirmed by ELISA analysis (WO2011161189A1).
