Recombinant monoclonal antibody to p-azophenylarsonate. Manufactured using AbAb’s Recombinant Platform with variable regions (i.e. specificity) from the hybridoma 36-71.
Alternative Name(s) of Target: [4-[(4-arsonophenyl)diazenyl]phenyl]arsenic acid
Immunogen: The original antibody was generated by immunizing A/J mice with Ars-coupled keyhole limpet hemocyanin (Ars-KLH).
Specificity: The antibody binds p-azophenylarsonate.
Application Notes: Direct binding analysis of Fab antibody toward Ars-BGG and Sulf-BGG were performed and binding was detected by ELISA. (PMID: 9637513) Competition ELISA was used to determine the relative affinity of the antibody for p-azophenylarsonate-N-acetyl-L-Tyr. (PMID: 11673524)
