Recombinant monoclonal antibody to beta-tubulin. Manufactured using AbAb’s Recombinant Platform with variable regions (i.e. specificity) from the phage display antibody S11B.
Alternative Name(s) of Target: β-tubulin
Immunogen: The original antibody was generated via phage display from the Griffin.1 library by screening against Microtubule-Binding Proteins (MBPs) derived from HeLa S3 cells.
Specificity: This antibody is specific for β-tubulin.
Application Notes: The original format of this antibody (scFv) was successfully used in a Western blot, and its anti-myc (9E10) complexed version was successfully used for in vitro immunofluorescence staining of β-tubulin in HeLa cells (Nizak et al., 2003; PMID: 14617357).
