Recombinant monoclonal antibody to Atrazine . Manufactured using AbAb’s Recombinant Platform with variable regions (i.e. specificity) from the hybridoma ATZ10#153.

Immunogen: The original antibody was generated immunizing a BALB/c mouse with atrazine and then expressing the antigen binding domain in a transgenic Nicotiana tabacum plant as an scFv with human C-kappa constant domain and a hexa-histidine tail.
Specificity: This antibody binds organic plant herbicide atrazine.
Application Notes: This antibody is expressed as up to 0.014% of soluble leaf protein and has a binding profile in ELISA, against an atrazine-bovine serum albumin (BSA) conjugate. It is also reported to bind free atrazine as well as related triazine herbicides (PMID: 9685621).
