Immunogen: The original antibody was raised by panning against a llama phage display library.

Specificity: This antibody is specific for human and sheep Caspase-3

Application Notes: The original antibody was used for a western blot against recombinant Caspase 3. This antibody was expressed in SHSY-5Y and the effect of the antibodies on apoptosis in presence of H2O2. It showed that it indeed decreased apoptosis under oxidative stress (McGonigal et al., 2009; PMID:18553063).
