Immunogen: This antibody was raised by immunising mice with full length human recombinant polypeptide for soluble CD14.

Specificity: This antibody recognises CD14, which is expressed strongly by macrophages and most tissue monocytes. Native CD14 also is spontaneously released from the surface of mature monocytes and macrophages in a soluble form.

Application Notes: This antibody is recommended for the detection of the presence of cell surface and soluble CD14 in a sample. Furthermore, it might be used in the research and development the methods to treat and prevent disorders with CD14 mediated cell activation, such as sepsis.
