Recombinant monoclonal antibody to CD62P. Manufactured using AbAb’s Recombinant Platform with variable regions (i.e. specificity) from the hybridoma CBL 08 6850.
UniProt Accession Number of Target Protein: P16109
Alternative Name(s) of Target: AK-6; SELP; GMP-140; LECAM3; PADGEM; P-selectin; Granule membrane protein 140; CD62 antigen-like family member P; Leukocyte-endothelial cell adhesion molecule 3; Platelet activation dependent granule-external membrane protein
Immunogen: The original antibody was raised by immunizing BALB/c mice with an ~100-200-kDa human platelet glycoprotein fraction prepared by gel filtration of concanavalin A-purified platelet membrane glycoproteins.
Specificity: This antibody is specific for CD62P.
Application Notes: This antibody was used for immunohistochemistry on normal dermal endothelium (Fleming et al., 2008; PMID:18197262, Foubert et al., 2015; PMID:24069908), and on nasal polyp tissue and associated inferior turbinate tissue (Könnecke et al., 2014; PMID:24995349). The original antibody was used for immunoprecipitation on platelet membrane glycoproteins. This antibody was also used for a western blot on cultured human umbilical vein endothelial cells (Skinner et al., 1989; PMID:2480118). This antibody was used for immunofluorescence on human umbilical vein endothelial cells (Mourik et al., 2013; PMID:24010820).
