Immunogen: The original antibody was generated by immunizing Balb/c mice with recombinant FcRn.
Specificity: The antibody is specific for human FcRn. The neonatal Fc receptor is a cell surface receptor that transfers passive humoral immunity from the mother to the newborn.
Application Notes: The antibody was employed in blocking experiments with HEK293 cells that overexpress FcRn. The results showed that the antibody has a good effect of blocking the binding of IgG to FcRn at the cellular level (IC50: 11.4nM). The effect of the antibody was tested in human FcRn transgenic mice. The antibody was able to increase IgG catabolism in vivo by blocking FcRn binding (CN113484526).

Immunofluorescence staining of U937 cells with anti-FcRn antibody h22-0015 (Ab03237). Immunofluorescence analysis of paraformaldehyde fixed U937 cells on Shi-fix™ coverslips stained with the chimeric rabbit IgG version of h22-0015 (Ab03237-23.0) (1:100 dilution) for 1h followed by Alexa Fluor® 488 secondary antibody (1:1000 dilution), showing membrane and cytoplasmic staining.
