Immunogen: The original antibody was raised by immunizing a rabbit with the Nipah virus.

Specificity: This antibody is specific for the F protein of the Nipah virus. Amino acids Gln70 and Ser74 are very important for its epitope.

Application Notes: The original antibody was used for an ELISA on Recombinant Soluble NiV-F. The structure of the original antibody was determined using x-ray crystallography (Avanzato et al., 2019; PMID:31767754).
