Specificity: The antibody is specific for the Gn protein.

Application Notes: The antibody efficiently neutralized RVFV infection in vitro, wherein the IC50 of the antibody reached pM level (1.93 pM). In vivo test results showed that the antibody could effectively treat mice infected with RVFV and prevent RVFV infection in mice. Further, the antibody bound to the Gn protein on RVFV virions to block the binding of virus to Vero cells, thereby exerting the function of inhibiting virus infection. The binding affinity of the antibody to the Gn protein was measured by surface plasmon resonance (Kd= 323 nM).
