Recombinant monoclonal antibody to HA. Manufactured using AbAb’s Recombinant Platform with variable regions (i.e. specificity) from the human B cell clone 310-18A3.

Immunogen: This antibody was raised by cloning antibody sequences form B cells isolated from people immunized with the H5 DNA vaccine.
Specificity: This antibody is specific for the H5N1 and H1N1 subtypes of influenza A virus. Influenza viruses are negative-sense, single-stranded, segmented RNA viruses.
Application Notes: The affinity of this antibody to H1/1999 HA was assessed. This was done by using the human version of this antibody for Bio-Layer Interferometry on H1/1999 HA. Further, an ELISA was preformed using the human version of this antibody on HA from influenza (Whittle et al, 2014; pmid:24501410).

Structure-based modification of HA to isolate HA-specific B cells by flow cytometry was used and characterize the features of HA stem antibodies (Abs) required for their development.
ELISA using 310-18A3 (Ab02849) and Influenza A HA [A/Hong Kong/483/97 (H5N1)]. Binding curves of the rabbit IgG chimeric version of the Anti-HAHA antibody 310-18A3 (Ab02849-23.0; green line) and isotype control (Ab00102-23.0, anti-fluorescein; orange line) to an ELISA plate coated with Influenza A HA [A/Hong Kong/483/97 (H5N1)] at a concentration of 2.5 ug/ml. A 3-fold serial dilution from 3000 to 0.0169 ng/ml was performed using Ab02849 antibody. For signal detection, a 1:4000 dilution of a HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody was used.
