Recombinant monoclonal antibody to IgG2a Fc. Manufactured using AbAb’s Recombinant Platform with variable regions (i.e. specificity) from the phage display antibody TP1129.
Alternative Name(s) of Target: immunoglobulin G2a fragment crystallizable region
Immunogen: This antibody was raised by immunising alpacas with 1.0 mg polyclonal mouse IgG. Subsequently, the generation of nanobody immune libraries and the selection of antigen-specific nanobodies by phage display from these libraries were performed.
Specificity: This antibody recognises Fc region of mouse IgG2a.
Application Notes: TP1129 can be used as an efficient secondary nanobody in the indirect immunofluorescence. It was utilised to detect IgG2a primary antibodies alongside another nanobody giving strong, clean signal without any background staining (Pleiner et al., 2018).
