Recombinant monoclonal antibody to p-azobenzenearsonate. Manufactured using AbAb’s Recombinant Platform with variable regions (i.e. specificity) from the hybridoma R19.9.

Immunogen: The original antibody was generated by immunizing A/J mice with keyhole limpet hemocyanin p-azophenylarsonate.
Specificity: The antibody binds p-azobenzenearsonate. p-Azobenzenearsonate is an arsenical. It causes antibody formation and delayed hypersensitivity when bound to aromatic amino acids, polypeptides or proteins. It is used as an immunologic research tool.
Application Notes: The crystal structure of the Fab fragment was determined (Lascombe et al., 1989; PMID: 2911596, Lascombe et al, 1992; PMID: 1409652)
